Winner of The Coffee Music Project NYC 2016!

The Coffee Music Project returned to NYC for the second year this September. 27 incredibly talented musicians took to the stage for a series of preliminary rounds at Pianos NYC, before the 10 finalists were selected to perform at the notorious Webster Hall for the chance to win first place and leave with $1,000 and a trip to London to record at Metropolis Studio, Europe's number 1 independent recording studio.

After several weeks of hard work and fantastic musical talent, it all came down to one night at Webster Hall in New York City –the final – with original coffee songs aplenty.

After an incredibly hard deliberation process, the judges announced that the winner was Nicole Zee, with R.O.E. and DD White coming in second and third place respectively.

The other talented finalists were:

  • Amalia Watty
  • Ashni
  • Bill Steely and Where's Dave
  • Britanny Fousheé
  • Giselle
  • Jessy Tomsko
  • Nalani & Sarina

Huge congratulations to Nicole Zee who wins $1,000 and a trip to London to record at Metropolis Studio, Europe's number one independent recording studio, and to all of the finalists and judges for their hard work and dedication.

All profits from The Coffee Music Project directly support Project Waterfall, bringing clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities. Thank you to everyone who has turned up to show their support for this great cause.
