Coffee Music Project Launching in New York City!

The Coffee Music Project is proud to announce that we will be launching in New York City this September. Applications for this high profile music competition are now open.

After the successful launch of The Coffee Music Project in London 2015, we are now focused on the competition in New York City this September. This will give musicians in ‘the city that never sleeps’ a chance to expose their musical talents to a vast new audience, support an incredible cause and win $1,500 along with the chance to perform at The New York Coffee Festival.

“The Coffee Music Project is an excellent opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their musical talents while supporting a great cause. We are very pleased with the success of The Coffee Music Project launch in London this year, and we are looking forward to another wonderful launch in New York City this September.” – Jeffrey Young, Founder of The Coffee Music Project

The Competition
The Coffee Music Project is a high profile music competition showcasing the creativity and talents of emerging musicians while engaging a deep spirit of community among those who share a passion for great music and coffee culture. New York City is notorious for the great coffee culture and a wealth of incredible up and coming musicians and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the Coffee Music Project to the Big Apple. Artists at all levels can submit two YouTube videos of performances, which the judges will assess. The top 32 contestants will be chosen to perform during the competition and required to submit an original song with some relation to coffee or a coffee shop experience.

The winner of the competition will receive a $1,500 prize, a professional recording session and a guaranteed headline slot to perform at The New York Coffee Festival. All eight finalists will also receive guaranteed slots to perform at The New York Coffee Festival, along with having one song featured on The Coffee Music Project NYC 2015 album.

The Cause
The Coffee Music Project supports Project Waterfall, which is committed to bringing clean water and sanitation to the communities which grow our coffee. All profits from the live shows will directly support this valuable cause.
